A legend of disco and funk with his group Chic, guitarist and producer genius Nile Rodgers has rolled out 45 years of irresistible modern hits.
Nile Rodgers was the undisputed master of the dancefloor in the late 70s, with songs that have stood the test of time intact (Le Freak, Good Times). Firstly, with the Chic albums, which the group released one after the other until 1983. Then as a producer for several generations of artists. Today, the musician celebrates these two facets, playing Chic's historic hits on stage as well as the hits he produced for Daft Punk, David Bowie, Diana Ross, Madonna and Beyoncé. A must-see.
The groove is free and infectious on SlyDee, the third album from Sylvain Daniel, adventurer of modern jazz (alongside Thomas de Pourquery and Laurent Bardainne) and pop without blinkers (with Jeanne Added and Redcar). The bassist and producer is surrounded by a dream team for whom funk, instrumental hip-hop and electric jazz hold no secrets. In their shaker, bass, drums, synthesizers, keyboards and trumpet form a delicious cocktail, an irresistible invitation to dance.
