In a crackle of cathode ray tubes, vaporous melodies surf on a wild pulse. The irascible energy of post-punk flirts with voluptuous electro, glam and psychedelic sounds. Bass, drums, guitar and synth: four mischievous kids, hidden under a fox-coat, play matchmaker on a dancefloor in peril. My first is a party, my second a thrill. Between grime and glitter, Catchy Peril stands out in the Indian rock landscape like a stain of gravy on a silk negligee.

Right from their first concert in November 2023, the band set the audience on fire, claiming an explosive live experience without sparing any of their catchy, original music in a well-crafted set. After releasing their first single Come Closer in January, the band went on to play a series of dates (over twenty!) over 6 months, in the South of France as well as in Paris (Cirque électrique, Supersonic) and more widely in France (Jura, Burgundy). Sharing the stage with a number of big-name bands (Pink Turns Blue, Stuck in the Sound, The Silver Lines), the band left no audience indifferent, developing a fledgling but committed fan base.
